This is a print from my "Migrations" series. Every piece in the series shows a migratory animal on it's way to a destination.
I originally made this with ink, watercolor, iridescent paint, and vellum. I then scanned and printed it in my home studio using all archival pigment inks on acid-free matte photo paper, with a white border to make framing easy. Pigment inks and paper are rated to last at least 90 years.
Available as an 8x10 or 11x14 (both standard sizes for framing!)
This print is in landscape format.
Each piece comes signed and will be shipped flat in a rigid mailer via First Class USPS.

Emperor penguins are the largest of all penguins. They live in Antarctica, and every year they travel up to 100 miles to their inland nesting areas. Their migrations seem to begin when the days start to grow shorter. Each year they take a different path due to shifts in snow and ice.
